Els’ expertise in the trailer industry comes from over thirty years’ experience as an Animal Health Technologist, Certified Equine Body Worker, and operating a multi-discipline equestrian facility.

It is this experience, combined with care and concern for the customer, that makes her passionate to serve you for the long haul. In her spare time, Els enjoys riding, reading, and, on occasion, traveling to distant places.

Ed Van Hierden

General Manager | Vantage Trailer Sales
As the General Manager at Vantage Trailer Sales, Ed puts his lifetime of entrepreneurial and management experience to work. He ensures that every company interaction embodies Vantage’s three core values: service, honesty, and excellence, and believes that Vantage should be a place where employees thrive and customers are valued.

He has a deep commitment to serving the customer through a streamlined buying process. On the weekends, Ed can be found maintaining the Vantage property, or, in the winter, reading business books by the fire with a glass of wine.

Julian Van Hierden

Lethbridge Location Manager | Vantage Trailer Sales

With over ten years experience working in the service, finance, and marketing departments of Vantage Trailer Sales has helped him understand all aspects of the business. He is passionate about providing customers with an enjoyable purchase experience.

Julian and his lovely wife, Aleisha, spend their free time in the mountains in the summer, hunting in the fall, and snowboarding, and ski-doing in the winter.

Dutchie Ahlbeck

Dutchie is not only passionate about selling products that he loves but also about connecting and developing long-lasting relationships with his clients.

With forty years of experience in the ranching industry and more than thirty years in trailer sales, Dutchie truly believes that the customer comes first.

As Vantage Trailers Lethbridge’s sales representative, he recognizes that customers expect honesty and loyalty in the buying process. Whatever trailer you need, Dutchie is the right person to help you. If you can’t reach him on his cellphone, he’s either gone fishing or flying!

Matt Rasmussen

Matt is driven to constantly provide quality service and superior customer support to every client who passes into the Vantage Shop.

With his Journeyman status, Red Seal welding ticket, and two decades of trailer manufacturing, repairs, and welding experience, Matt is the perfect fit for Vantage Trailer Sales.

Matt’s goal is to ensure that all clients have a well-serviced trailer to pursue their equestrian passions safely. Family orientated, Matt spends his spare time with his wife and kids or completing welding projects in his garage.

Michelle Auclair

General Manager Lacombe | Vantage Trailer Sales

Michelle has extensive experience with horses and trailers having been on the rodeo circut and around horses her whole life. Her daughter Macey currently competes in Canada and the United States. She is passionate about making sure each customer is well taken care of. 

Steve Lamarche

Service Manager Lacombe | Vantage Trailer Sales

Because Steve is a certified welder & a truck deck/trailer manufacturer he is a great fit for the Vantage team and our customers can feel confident that he has the skills to make sure their trailer is repaired right the first time. Before coming to Vantage Steve worked as an operations manager with municipal gov’t and highways. 

When Steve is not working hard to make sure all of the jobs in the shop are ready to go he loves flyfishing, hunting, and wood working. 

Jill

Finance Advisor & Admin | Vantage Trailer Sales

Jill was born in Ontario and raised in southern Alberta. She grew up riding horses, initially starting with barrel racing before moving on to show jumping and eventing. Jill relocated to central Alberta after spending five years in the States. We were fortunate to have Jill join the team in 2021. Jill appreciates  the comradery with her co-workers and that Vantage provides her with an environment that she can grow in. At Vantage she feels can combine her love of horses and customer service experience.  

When Jill is not assisting customers she enjoys riding horses, hiking with her dog, and spending time with family. Her nephews & niece are especially important to her. 

Anne

Finance Advisor & Admin | Vantage Trailer Sales

Anne has been with Vantage Trailers almost from the beginning. She currently takes care of F&I, logistics, and administration. Anne takes pride in assisting our customers get into the trailer of their dreams. 

When Anne is not in the office she usually is spending time with her family or traveling.
